I’m Angela McPherson, a fiber artist who loves turning thread, fabric, and color into expressive works of art. This is where I share my passion for fiber art, creative play, and all the joy that comes with stitching something from the heart. I love combining thread sketching and watercolor on fabric, then building on those ideas with quilting, appliqué, and a healthy dose of experimentation.

Creative Threads: Thread-Sketching for Beginners
Join me for a welcoming and confidence-building class where you’ll learn how to draw with thread using your sewing machine. Together, we’ll explore how simple stitches can create line, texture, and movement—opening the door to expressive, creative stitching.
We’ll begin with the foundations of thread sketching, including machine setup, materials, and basic free-motion techniques. From there, you’ll practice creating lines, shapes, and textures that build control and comfort at the machine. These skills form the building blocks for thread sketching portraits, animals, and art quilts.
