While working on my Morning Glory Maiden art quilt, I grabbed my camera to give you a behind-the-scenes look at how I practice thread sketching ideas before stitching them into the final piece. This step helps me experiment with textures, lines, and movement—bringing the design to life with confidence.

Thread sketching is my escape from the hamster wheel in my head—when I’m focused on each stitch, that little hamster can’t keep running.

I thought I was pulling up thread… turns out it was my hair. Guess I’m more “attached” to this quilt than I realized.
